It was so great to see all my old Balancingtouch friends again. I just realised that when you become part of  Balancingtouch, you become part of a community that loves helping people and loves giving the best of what massage has to offer.

In my day to day I can always lean on all the nuggets of wisdom that you get in class. In that moment you don’t know that it is important, but as soon as you get stuck into it, the knowledge just comes flooding in.

I had so much fun showing the judges and everyone around what I do and I am absolutely just so honoured that I did so well. Just a testimony of the quality of education that you provide.

I entered the massage industry in 2016 with the intention of expanding my business in a different direction and using it to complement my career in Personal Training.

I was referred to Balancingtouch by one of my fitness mentors, and over the years, massage became my main focus and priority.

It’s easy to obtain a qualification, but what makes Balancingtouch so unique is the way the courses are taught. My lecturers, Devin and Kyle, taught with such enthusiasm and passion for the industry that their love for massage became infectious. To this day, I carry that same passion into my own career.

My mission is to be recognised as one of the best sports practitioners, a go-to for rehabilitation and performance enhancement. I strive to help athletes reach new heights in their careers and to teach people how to effectively manage their stress, allowing them to experience more flow in their lives.

The MCSA Massage Championships provided a stepping stone toward gaining more recognition in the country. I am so grateful for this platform, as it offers a great space to expand your network as a practitioner, to be inspired and to receive professional guidance on how we, as practitioners, can elevate our practice.

Two things stood out for me about the Balancingtouch Massage Institute as well as the Swedish Massage course I attended in August 2025, Cape Town.

Firstly,  the level of professionalism during the course and the instruction in the practice of Swedish and Fullbody Massage therapy was highly impressive and it is clearly evident the work and love which has gone into sharing the years of knowledge and thw firsthand information gathered experientially and practically of this complimentary therapy.

Secondly, the energy vibration and frequency felt throughout the course by which it is conducted has been nothing but positive and AWESOME!

Though a short span of time by which the course is taught I have gained the knowledge to confidently begin and add to my journey on which I am called to – being of service to others within holistic and body treatment therapy which now includes Swedish Massage.

Evert aspect is covered thoroughly. I have left filled with a greater sense of what I may be capable of in massage therapy as a massage therapist but also a bodywork practitioner, in the very near future, God willing.
